About UsBlinkbonny House is a beautiful detached bungalow built in the 1930's on what was formerly an apple orchard, part of the old Blinkbonnie Estate, (later changed to Blinkbonny) situated on the west side of Edinburgh in one of the finest districts of the city.
Our house sits on an elevated position overlooking a tree-lined park to the rear of the property. The rooms to the rear of the house have a spectacular outlook over the surrounding area.
Within easy walking distance the shops and gardens of Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle, the National Gallery of Modern Art, Royal Botanical Gardens, Murrayfield Rugby Stadium and Stockbridge, a conservation area renowned for its antique shops and excellent restaurants.
Also, we are only a few minutes walk to the Craigleith Shopping Centre where you will find a large supermarket with restaurant, chemist’s, and many more shops.
For breakfast there is a full Scottish breakfast, cereals of your choice, porridge, or enjoy a lighter alternative of cheese, fruit, bread and yoghurts. Vegetarians are happily catered for.
We are happy to greet you from late flights and ensure that you get a cooked breakfast for those early starts.
